Nissin is paying homage to arguably its most recognizable food item with a limited edition set of cup noodle headphones.

Dubbed the ‘HyperX Cup MIX-Ins‘, the amusing pair is made in collaboration with HyperX, a known designer of gaming headphones and other accessories.
Aside from the hilariously oversized noodle cup pads, the headphones also come with a mic called the ‘microphork’. Now you may laugh at the entire setup, but Nissin insists that every single piece in the design has a special function:
‘Through the use of a detachable Microphork™, the headphones cancel out all Cup Noodle slurping sounds while still delivering crystal-clear sound quality.
The patent-pending Noodlette™ ear pads woven together with noodle fibers deliver the silky soft caress of ramen noodles for your ears.’

It isn’t the first time that Nissin had a little fun with tech. In 2017, the Japanese brand ‘invented’ an absurdly huge ‘slurp canceling fork‘, altho it’s unknown if it ever was put into production.
Now, we’re not entirely sure if the ‘HyperX Cup MIX-Ins’ will ever see a worldwide release, but it IS reportedly set to drop on April 1 at the Nissin Fan store.
