Instagram and Twitter have been abuzz lately with talks of a Hannah Montana reboot, as an IG profile bearing the show’s handle (@hannahmontana) has recently surfaced.
While this could be easily credited as a simple fan account, the name ‘Hannah Montana’ is actually trademarked by Disney, meaning that the media giant had to give its approval in greenlighting the profile.

As of writing, the account has amassed 20k followers despite having zero activity; no profile pic or posts whatsoever.
But the main takeaway here is that fans noticed that Miley Cyrus herself followed then later unfollowed the profile at some point.

While Miley has shown a certain disdain to her iconic role in the past, she noticeably paid an adorable tribute to the 13th anniversary of HM’s first-ever episode.
Add to the fact that shows like Drake & Josh and That’s So Raven all recently getting rebooted, it isn’t a stretch to hope that Hannah Montana might just be revisiting the best of both worlds.
