LGBTQ relationships always receive a ton of scrutiny
And since they face a ton of pressure - be it from their families, friends, or society - they don’t always work out.
But in this new ad from Closeup, three LGBT couples who were previously denied the freedom to love are given the chance to rekindle their long-lost relationships.
One is a Filipino, whose parents disapproved of his partner
Another is Indian, whose social standing led to their separation
The last is Brazilian, who also faced discrimination from her parents
The trio had been separated from their respective partners for years, each thinking that they would never see their loved ones ever again.
But since life works in mysterious ways, maybe there’s hope for them just yet
