The Marvel Cinematic Universe might’ve just found its newest (and biggest) lead.
Angelina Jolie is in talks to star in Marvel’s ‘The Eternals‘, as revealed by The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie, which is about a team of ‘super-powered, near-immortal’ cosmic beings, is a part of the MCU’s Phase 4 lineup, which includes ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’, ‘Guardians 3’, and the Black Widow solo movie.
THR reports that the movie is partly about a ‘love story between Ikaris, a man fueled by cosmic energy, and Sersi, who relishes moving amongst humans.’
It’s unclear which character Angelina will play. The Oscar-winner was previously linked to Marvel back in 2015 when she was rumored to direct the box office hit, ‘Captain Marvel’.
