Sunflowers are among the most loved flowers by many
With their bright yellow petals and long stems, it is without a doubt they are so popular!
Recently, a sunflower farm in the South trended as the beautiful field was in full bloom! What made it better, was that the entrance is completely free!
Located at Daang Reyna, Vista Alabang in Las Piñas, sunflower fans from the south immediately flocked to the location to spot the golden yellow flowers under the sunlight.
However, if you’re not from the South and aren’t up for a road trip, here are other sunflower fields you can visit within and near the Metro!
University of the Philippines, Diliman
If you know anyone from UP Diliman, chances are, you’ve photos of them on campus during graduation as they wear their sablays posing near sunflowers. That is because UP has a graduation tradition of planting sunflowers at University Avenue, as a gift to their graduating students.
Baras, Rizal
A P50 entrance fee for adults and P30 for children is definitely a small price to pay for the wonder one can be bewildered by at Celossian Flower Farm in the municipality of Baras, Rizal. And the good news is, it just takes an hour or an hour and a half from Metro Manila to get here!
Apart from that, various flowers can be spotted here, not only Sunflowers! So if you’re in the mood to see and smell more options, this is the place to go! PS You can also take picnics at the location, just bring your own food!
Candelaria, Quezon
A bit farther is Girasoles Farm – Angel’s Sunflower Field in Candelaria, Quezon. If you’re up for a long drive to get to the scenic location, this place is perfect. With an entrance fee of P100 for adults and P80, like Celossian in Rizal, you’ll also see a vast flower field home to many other beautiful flowers, too!
They also allow photoshoots for different prices.
Truly, there is no better time to visit these locations than in the summer when the sun meets the bright yellowish-orange hues of these beautiful sunflowers! Which sunflower farm will you visit?
