Remember the days you used to imagine what your fave cartoon character would look like IRL? Netflix has got us covered: ‘Fate: The Winx Saga‘, based on the 2000’s OG magical girl group Winx Club about fairies in training, has begun filming in Ireland!
Vampire Chronicles showrunner Brian Young will head ‘Fate‘, so we might get a darker adaptation similar to ‘Riverdale‘ and ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘.
As for the IRL fairies, Abigail Cowen, who plays Dorcas in ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘, leads the pack as human-turned-fairy Bloom.

The rest of the cast is headlined by:

This isn’t the first time Netflix has invested in the realm of Otherworld, as they dropped the animated spin-off ‘World of Winx‘ in 2016. ‘Fate‘ is also just one of the upcoming live-action adaptations from the streaming service, with ‘One Piece‘ and ‘Resident Evil‘ rumored to debut sometime in the future.
Here’s to hoping they give justice to the girls.
