#SEHUN has been trending on Twitter lately, and it’s all because of rumors about his alleged pregnant non-celebrity girlfriend.
An anonymous user posted a now-deleted online community forum with the title “Sehun’s girlfriend is pregnant before marriage.” The user explained that Sehun’s alleged girlfriend is pregnant, and included photos to support their claim. One of the photos included a cartoon holding it’s belly with a heart emoji on top of it.
EXO-Ls were quick to storm Twitter and other online platforms.
SM Entertainment, Sehun’s agency, denied the allegations in a statement last Monday, “The rumors circulating online about Sehun are false and completely groundless. This is a definite criminal act of distributing malicious false information. Although the posts have been deleted, we are continuously monitoring [to figure out] the original poster as well as those who distribute the rumors. We will be taking strong legal action.”
On March 28, through the messaging service Bubble and Instagram Stories, Sehun took the chance to communicate with his fans and address the allegations.
On Bubble, the idol shared, “I’m really angry because this situation came up out of the blue, but I wanted to tell you not to even misunderstand.”
Sehun shared on Instagram Stories that he has “been thinking for a few days about taking the legal route with them right away.” And acknowledges that “Fans might already know about this but there’s a girl pretending to be my girlfriend for a few years now.”
He goes on to add, “She shares posts and writes as if we’re in a relationship and I have heard of this however she is someone I don’t know at all, but because I had not taken any step it has become such a big issue now.”
“I am clearly stating that all the photos and words going around the internet currently are not me. I am absolutely sure,” he added.
SM Entertainment will be taking strong legal action and monitoring the situation.
