“For others, it’s just merch. Its just material. But the time and effort I put into buying it, especially the sentimental value, are what makes it priceless.”
“It’s very sad, but I’m still thankful my family and I are safe.” says Abbah Ahad in a TiktTok video.
In a viral TikTok video that amassed over 500 thousand likes and 26 thousand comments that showed immediate concern, BTS Army Abbah Ahad shared how the recent Bagyong Paeng damaged her collection of BTS merch and albums that she started collecting in 2016.
In an interview with Inquirer, she shared that the items she has collected over the years now are mostly rare, with an estimated value of 200,000 PHP.
@abbahahad I will never forget you Paeng 💔💔💔😭😭😭 But still thank you God for your protection 🙏🙏🙏 #btsmerchcollectionandalbumsgotflooded #heartbroken💔 #prayforphilippines #keepsafeeveryone #bts #btsarmy
The video shows her now-drenched merchandise placed inside a container that she actually prepared for the upcoming severe tropical storm in an attempt to shield her prized belongings. Little did she know, there would be extreme flooding. Her caption reads “I will never forget you Paeng. But still thank you God for your protection.”
Abbah’s co-Armys immediately flocked the comments with words of encouragement and well-wishes. Many also said they felt her pain while there were others that wanted to help and donate.
As of present, Abbah’s latest update posted a day ago shows that she is ok and is not losing spirit. Despite the unfortunate happening, Abbah writes that she may be sad, but she is still very thankful that she and her family are safe. She also appreciates the support she got from her co-Armys.
Abbah left with a message “Army fighting! Kaja!” on her TikTok.
@abbahahad Thank you everyone especially to my co-armysssssss 💜💜💜 I’m sorry I can’t mention you one by one but all your messages are touching. Thank you. For others, it’s just merch, it’s just material, but the time and effort I put into buying it, especially the sentimental value, are what makes it priceless. I love BTS and I know they will understand what happened. We were so affected by the flood that almost all of our belongings were flooded along with my BTS merch. I was hoping that at least some of my merch would be saved because it is really what makes me happy, but none was saved and all were damaged. It’s very sad, but I’m still thankful my family and I are safe. Thank you all for the support, I really appreciate it. God bless everyone and keep safe.Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 #btsarmy #btsarmyforever
