ICYDK, Marvel just revealed a look at its first Filipina superhero, Wave. And while she has yet to debut in the comics, co-creator Leinil Yu is already looking forward to a live-action adaptation of his character.
His actress of choice? None other than former ‘Darna’ actress, Angel Locsin.

Yu was initially replying to Angel’s tweet which saw the actress fangirling over the Marvel hero’s design.
The actress was more than flattered with the suggestion (she even posted it on her IG story!) but eventually tweeted that she’s retired from any kind of superhero-ing.
