Oh, to get lost in a Godzilla void
Weeks after the construction of Japan’s life-size Godzilla statue on Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, people are now happily lining up to zipline inside its unbelievably giant mouth.
Instead of running away and getting eaten by the 393-foot tall monster, Godzilla’s mouth actually serves as an entrance into Nijigen no Mori theme park’s Godzilla attraction.
True to its theme, the area is complete with a shooting arcade, a Godzilla museum with souvenirs, and a cafe where you can choose from a wide range of monster-themed snacks.

Admission to the amusement park starts at $7 USD (PHP 340) for kids under 7, $20 USD (PHP 970) for kids under the age of 11, and $35 USD (PHP 1,700) for adults.
In case the giant Godzilla ever acts up, at least Japan has the equally unbelievable life-sized moving Gundam to put it in its place.
