It has been interesting to see brands from completely different industries come together for an unexpected partnership. For its 25-year anniversary, Pokémon worked with different brands including Oreo, and recently, the Japanese company will soon drop its collab with Converse.
The Pokémon x Converse collection includes a variety of sneakers and apparel that will make you want to catch ’em all. The line includes a Chuck Taylor All-Star “First Partners” that seems to hold a family size run. The shoes have a black canvas with graphics showing Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Jigglypuff.
Another sneaker design has classic black-on-white colorway that shows the aforementioned Pokémon characters, but this time adding Meoweth. Both designs have a Poké Ball that takes the form of Converse’s logo on the lateral side. The anniversary collection will also include a hoodie, a Jigglypuff crewneck, along with many other tees and accessories.

For the younger batch of Pokémon fans, its collab also has a line exclusive for kids. Converse focused on Jigglypuff and Pikachu themed sneakers, which inspire the strap-embelished Chuck in various ways. The sleep-inducing character can be seen on the shoe’s side on a pink canvas. On the other hand, the electric counterpart takes the form of the yellow-colored shoe, with a heel that looks ike its tail.
The full collection will roll out on Converse’s official website and at other retailers on December 10. The prices of each items are yet to be announced.
