In 1977, “Anak” became a global hit, being translated into 30 languages. According to Bench, thousands of Filipinos sought employment abroad around the same time.
And now, their children sing to honor all their sacrifices.
Bench collaborated with the children of Overseas Filipino Workers to create one epic Christmas tribute video for their parents, singing to Freddie Aguilar’s “Anak”.
