Time for some serious rage-quitting
We’ve prob tried all types of ways to connect during this lockdown, from e-numans to Netflix Parties. But this time, why not try a game that’ll probably have you totally confused with a friend? Probably to the point that you’ll realize escape games have gone a little too meta.
Popular Sacramento-based escape room Enchambered has dropped a series of free online puzzles set to test players wits – from deciphering hidden symbols, figuring out combinations, to escaping haunted rooms.
If you’re raring to test some friendships in a pretty difficult virtual escape room, Enchambered also features ‘Alone Together‘ – a two-player puzzle game that’ll see you and a friend solve a series of clues together in order to escape.
‘Can you decipher enigmatic puzzles that require constant communication between you and your teammate to solve?’ Your escape is dependent on how well you work together to find your way through gadgets and clues to solve the puzzle.’ the page’s instruction reads.
‘Alone Together‘ recommends you and your friend keep contact through video or phone call in order to get the different clues displayed on the screen. It also doesn’t have a time limit like IRL escape rooms, so you and a friend can solve (and annoy each other) until your heart’s content.
Honestly, we’re not sure if we’re unfamiliar with escape rooms or this is just too damn complicated. Probably the former.
If you’re unfamiliar with the gameplay of these kinds of of problem-solving games, it’s best to practice through Enchambered’s other single puzzle games first. If you wanna dive head-first, check out ‘Alone Together’ here.
