Even better than the OG
After what feels like years of trying to claim back the rights to her masters, Taylor Swift is now officially rerecording her original songs – and we’ve got the clip to prove it.
The singer took to Twitter earlier today to tease a remaster of her OG 2008 track ‘Love Story’ used in a commercial for dating site match.com.
‘Okay so while my new re-records are NOT done, my friend @VancityReynolds asked me if he could use a snippet of one for a LOLsome commercial he wrote so…here’s a sneak peak of Love Story!’
‘Working hard to get the music to you soon!!’

Playing behind a tale of literal Satan finding a girlfriend (a match made in hell, anyone?), we can hear TSwift’s voice swelling over the familiar tune in a much more mature bravado compared to 12 years ago. As a Swiftie, it almost brings a tear to my eye.
Aside from the vocal changes, there are also more folksy instrumentals at the beginning – a nod to her country roots and her current ‘folklore‘ era.
We can’t wait for the others
