Over on international shores…
As the entire world continues to grapple with the literal pandemic, US President Donald Trump just called his COVID-19 diagnosis a ‘blessing from God‘.
ICYDK, Trump tested positive for the virus last Friday, where he spent 3 days in Maryland’s Walter Reed Medical Center. Less than a week later, he returned to the White House and removed his mask in front of the American people.
In a 5-minute video address posted earlier today, a healthy-looking Trump stated that testing positive to the virus that has infected over 7.5M Americans, killed over 1M people worldwide, and plummeted countries in recession was a ‘blessing’.
‘I think it was a blessing from God that I caught it. This was a blessing in disguise.’
This is apparently due to the fact that he took the antibody cocktail treatment Regeneron during his ongoing battle – which he plans to make available for Americans as soon as possible.
‘To me, it wasn’t therapeutic, it just made me better, okay? I call that a cure. I want to get these things done… I feel great. I feel, like, perfect.’

He furthered that he plans to get a vaccine out before the US elections this November, but politics would get in the way and Regeneron would make do as a treatment for now.
He then ended the video by reiterating that contracting COVID-19 was a blessing in disguise, and wished Americans good luck amidst the pandemic.
‘Again, a blessing in disguise. Good luck.’
