Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to determine the best workplaces for this year. They surveyed 150,000 full-time and part-time employees from 58 countries working for multinational companies. The participants were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers and assessed other employers in their respective industries.
Target’s vice president of talent acquisition Damu McCoy shared that he first joined as an intern nearly 30 years ago. He shared, ‘You don’t stay just because you get your paycheck. You stay because you’re inspired by the people you work around, you believe in the organization’.
The Jollibee, Ayala, and AEV were part of the 750 companies that made it to the global list. These firms were evaluated on aspects such as image, economic footprint, talent development, gender equality, and social responsibility. There were also a total of 236 from the U.S., 91 from Germany, and 51 from China. However, South Korean tech giant Samsung took the top spot.
