Everyone has their own definition of success and when you get to ex…. Success is aimed by everyone but it is not a one-step process. Keeping yourself on track with the following steps can help you in reaching heights.
1. Turn pages everyday
They start their morning by browsing pages and even up to the time before they take a rest at night. It could be the daily broadsheet spread, biography of a prominent person, novels or a self-help book. Believing that the mind travels when one reads, they do not put an end to learning since the have the hunger and thirst for it. Although they may, learning does not have to be going to a university again to take their master’s degree or try a new field.
2. Live within their means
Spending is only meant for things that matter. Just because they are capable of buying everything (including your soul) does not mean they have to purchase them to show off. Instead of purchasing too much on high-end stuff, they give back to charity without having to announce it to the world.
3. Hit the gym everyday
Studies show that exercising can boost one’s creativity, reduce stress and promote brainpower. Successful people on an idle mode? That’s a no-no!
4. Update their to-do list
Maximizing their time at the office is their mantra to be efficient. Going to an 8-hour work, pretending to do something and just wait for the shift to end is not their thing.
5. Think positively
Having the game plan in hand, they know that at the end of the day it will lead to their desired success.
6. Do not get satisfied
Humans in nature are always looking for more. Even if they already had reached the summit, they feel the need to touch the clouds.
7. Do more; talk less
They never make excuses to get the the job done.
The key is to stop looking how many baskets of sheets to get washed and just do the laundry.
8. Trust their guts
Believing in one’s self is the beginning of the journey to success. It is the main ingredient that will push you harder and get better. Mind you, there is a thin line between confidence and arrogance.
9. Always open the door when big breaks come.
As the saying goes that opportunity knocks only once, they do not stay staring at a balloon and wait for the it to just go up in the air.
10. Make mistakes and learn from them
Taking risks is the name of the game to obtain the best result possible or the other way around. While it is inevitable to commit mistakes, they never stay dumped in the mud. “Fall seven times, stand up eight,” says a Japanese proverb. It is only considered a failure when you do not learn anything from it.
