It’s 2019. More people are willing to pay for convenience especially with the worsening of traffic (I’m looking at you, EDSA). So when grocery and food delivery app, Honestbee, announced its pause on operations starting a few days back, it came as a shocker.
First launched in Singapore, Honestbee launched in the Philippines in 2017 and has been convenient for those who need food delivery service.
Since taking a Holy Week break, it was noticed that the app has not resumed operations until April 22.
According to their representative, Honestbee’s Philippines-based operations will be temporarily unavailable “while our [headquarters] work towards bringing the total business to a healthy and sustainable level”. The representative extends their gratitude to all those who have been supporting Honestbee and its community.
No stated date yet as to when operations will resume.
We do hope it’s only temporary.
