For the second straight year, RuPaul’s Drag Race has snatched the nod for Outstanding Competition Program at the 71st annual Emmy Awards. The show, which was renewed for a 12th season, trumped other former winners such as The Amazing Race (10 wins) and The Voice (4 wins).

Host RuPaul Charles himself has gained acclaim for his work on the show, nabbing his fourth straight Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program. The win ties him with Survivor‘s Jeff Probst for most wins in the category’s history.

‘We are so proud of this show, and we are so happy for all the gorgeous kids who come on and show how fabulous they are’, says the LGBT icon.
