In other news, Riverdale is also getting its own spinoff series called ‘Katy Keene’, which follows the titular character and her 20-something squad as they try to make it big in New York City.
The show is described as a musical dramedy, which will focus on its protagonists’ aspirations to become the next big thing on Broadway, the fashion scene, and the recording studio.
Aside from the two highly anticipated projects, a Nancy Drew drama based on the best-selling detective books is also in the works. Emma Roberts previously portrayed the character in a 2007 film of the same name.
