Apart from looking forward to new storylines and mindblowing visuals, the possible addition of K-drama star Park Seo Joon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has got fans going wild. Numerous Korean news sites posted that the actor has been reportedly cast in the upcoming film The Marvels.
Korean entertainment site Soompi reported Park is currently shooting a movie called Concrete Utopia. After wrapping up the shoot, he is set to leave for the United States in the second half of the year to work on the Captain Marvel sequel.

Park’s agency Awesome ENT chose not to comment when asked for more details, as per NME. If the reports are true, it would add to the Asian representation we need in Hollywood films. He would also be the third South Korean actor to be part of the MCU, following Ma Dong Seok in The Eternals and Claudia Kim in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The actor is also widely known for starring in different K-drama series that include Itaewon Class, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Kill Me, and Heal Me. If you didn’t spot him, he actually made a cameo in the Oscar-winning film Parasite in 2019.
The Marvels is slated to release in the United States on November 11, 2022.
