In another news of much-deserved Filipino representation, PARADISE RISING just notched a new milestone with its first-ever signed artist, hip-hop sensation Guapdad 4000.

The Filipino-American act is set to release a full-length album, 1176, under the 88rising sub-label. 1176 chronicles the life and career to date of the Oakland-based rapper, from his Filipino upbringing, humble beginnings, and eventual stardom.

The album features the single ‘How Many’, made in collaboration with fellow Fil-Am artist !LLMIND, who has worked with the likes of Kanye West, Ariana Grande, Drake and Ludacris.

Prior to the drop, Guapdad 4000’s debut album Dior Deposits earned a New York Times nod as one of the ‘Best Albums of The Year’ for 2019.

1176 is scheduled to drop on March 19th, marking the first official release from PARADISE RISING. The young label was first introduced last year with the aim to globally promote and uplift artists of Filipino descent.
