Congratulations are in order for rockstar Machine Gun Kelly and (arguably) everyone’s girl crush Megan Fox since the pair recently got engaged. After Megan said “yes” last January 11, they apparently “drank each other’s blood” during their special moment, as stated in her Instagram post.
Megan shared a video on social media showing MGK proposing to her under a Banyan tree – the same one they were under in July of 2020. She wrote, ‘We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.’
Megan added, ‘Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.’
‘And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes,’ she continued.

MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, posted the sparkly engagement ring, which was composed of his birthstone (diamond) and Megan’s birthstone (emerald). He described it as “two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.”
The couple first went public with their relationship in June 2020, after they formed a connection months earlier while filming the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass. This would be the first marriage for MGK, who has a daughter from his past relationship. Meanwhile, Megan was previously married to actor Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three children.
The Internet went wild when they heard the news (and read Megan’s blood-thirsty caption) and celebrated it through – of course – memes.
