As ‘Wave‘ nears her debut in ‘War of the Realms’, an official cover image of Marvel’s first Filipina superhero has surfaced – and it’s inspired by none other than Nadine Lustre.

Filipino Marvel artist Mico Suayan made the reveal earlier today in a Facebook post. The caption reads:

‘So the cat is out of the bag. Here’s the pencil/marker version of AGENTS OF ATLAS featuring WAVE. Comic Odyssey retailer variant cover. It wouldn’t be this awesome without Rain MB colors. I’m truly honored…’

He later shared that this version was inspired by the Kapamilya actress.

‘A little trivia. I based my rendition of Wave to Nadine Lustre.’ writes Mico.

On Twitter, Comic Odyssey announced that they will feature the Nadine Lustre-inspired cover on their copies of ‘War of Realms: New Agents of Atlas #1’, where Wave is set to make her Marvel debut.

‘War of the Realms‘ is reported to be released in May.
