Just when you thought that the last year’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is the biggest superhero movie that Marvel could produce… you’re wrong, dear.
Marvel tops itself for 2018, The Avengers: Infinity War Part I will hit the world’s cinemas and directors Joe and Anthony Russo revealed that this movie, in particular, will star a whopping number of super heroes – 67, to be exact. Thanos will be the biggest antagonist of the film, with the movie’s premise revolving around the the six Infinity Stones and the Infinity Gauntlet.
Infinity War will follow The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy to avoid and eventually stop Thanos from finding and taking possession of all six Infinity Gems. Failure to do so will put the universe under destruction.
Although at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Iron Man/Tony Stark left The Avengers and The Hulk/Bruce Banner disappeared, their presence to battle for the stones in Infinity War has not been ruled out – yet.
Infinity War Part I and Part II are scheduled for screening on May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019, respectively.
