Prep your preteen feels: ‘Looking for Alaska’ is now available for streaming


The novel that launched a thousand Tumblr posts is finally here.

John Green’s 2005 YA novel ‘Looking for Alaska‘ has finally dropped in Hulu! After remaining in development limbo since 2006, the much-awaited limited series has found a home through the streaming site and is now available for binging.

Looking for Alaska‘ follows 15-year old Miles ‘Pudge‘ Halter (Charlie Plummer) in his freshman year at Culver Creek High School in Alabama. His world then gets turns upside down when he meets ‘hurricane of a girl‘ Alaska Young (Kristine Froseth).

The Hulu series also includes faves from the Culver Creek crew: The Eagle (Timothy Simons), The Colonel (Denny Love), and Takumi (Jay Lee).

Looking for Alaska‘ is the first of John Green’s famous heartwrenching YA novels including previously-adapted books ‘The Fault in Our Stars‘ and ‘Paper Towns‘. It was also previously banned in select libraries and schools in the U.S. due to profanity and sexual themes.
