Iconic coming-of-age film ‘Lady Bird‘ starring Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet is finally coming to Netflix this month.
According to the streaming site’s title page for the movie, the 2017 Greta Gerwig-helmed film will be available for streaming starting this April 24.
ICYDK, ‘Lady Bird‘ follows a young woman named Christine (AKA Lady Bird) as she navigates her senior year of high school and the resentment of feeling stuck in her hometown of Sacramento. Haven’t we all?
The film has since been nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Original Screenplay during the 2018 Academy Awards.
Watch it if you’re feeling stuck amidst the lockdown, or if you just want to watch a pretty good film about the universal feeling of growing up.
Meanwhile, ‘Lady Bird‘ isn’t the only time that Saoirse and Timothée have been paired off, as they’ve also starred opposite one another back in 2019 with another Gerwig-directed film ‘Little Women’.
The duo will also star together in the upcoming Wes Anderson movie ‘The French Dispatch‘.
