Josh Peck will join Miranda Cosgrove in the ‘iCarly’ reboot

-

‘Megan!’, Josh Peck used to shout to Miranda Cosgrove’s character in their show together. But this time, he won’t be playing as her brother and will probably be screaming another name: Carly. Yup, the two will reunite in the upcoming season of the iCarly reboot.

Speaking with People, Peck confirmed his appearance in the show after many speculations a few weeks ago. He said, ‘Miranda is a good friend of mine, and when they announced the new iCarly, we chatted about finding something fun for me to play.’

‘Being on the iCarly set after all these years feels very full circle and I love getting to work with Miranda, Nathan [Kress], and Jerry [Trainor] again,’ he said. Peck will guest star as Carly’s “aggressive manager” named Paul.

Paul will be seen arguing with Freddie when his “ambitious” managing practices clash with the usual day-to-day of the group. But Carly is said to discover a way to make things at peace while keeping both Paul and Freddie on her team.

In an interview with E! News, Cosgrove already hinted at Peck’s appearance. She said that there was “a really good chance” for him to be included. She added, ‘But you know, Josh and I are friends, and he was nice enough to say he’d do an episode.’

Cosgrove and Peck first worked together when they played as siblings during the run of Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh in the early 2000s. Meanwhile, Paramount+ rebooted iCarly this year, following the lead’s transition into adulthood and re-launching her viral web show for a more mature audience.
