White sand is waving
US actor and crowdsourcing king Joseph Gordon-Levitt (JGL) is back at it again with another PH project. Instead of calling for prose and voices, he’s now asking for your breathtaking beach photos. *Cue Manila Bay references*
‘This new project will be a narrative short film. We’ll use these photos to establish the setting. More steps coming soon,’ his Facebook post reads, as he caps off the post with a photo from Iloilo’s Gigantes Island.
‘Really excited for this project. I already know how talented you all are at photography.’
Looking for photos of BEACHES in the Philippines for a new project! If you have a photo like that, post it here:…
As usual, JLG’s own site hitRECord was flooded with Filipinos sending in their seriously nostalgic beach photos from Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Boracay, and more.
The new initiative comes a few weeks after the release of his short film ‘Beauty of the Philippines’, which was made from homemade videos showcasing the country’s sights and sounds.
The actor isn’t showing signs of stopping his travel projects anytime soon too, as he’s now calling for more photographer volunteers from further parts of the world such as Poland and Spain.
