Even with the iPhone 11 dropping just this month, Apple analysts are already hard at work predicting what’s next from the tech giant.
As per MacRumors, a report by the world’s ‘most accurate Apple analyst‘ Ming-Chi Kuo has speculated that the next generation of iPhones will take a page from the past and bring back the 2010 iPhone 4’s metal square-edged frame instead of the current curved sides.
‘The metal frame and the front and rear glass are still used, but the metal frame surface will be changed to a similar design to the iPhone 4.‘, said Ming-Chi.
Apple bringing back the square-edge screens won’t be so far-fetched considering that the recent 2018 iPad Pro is doing the same.
Ming-Chi also predicted next year’s iPhones will support 5G networks, which would correlate with Apple’s recent buy-out of Intel’s smartphone modems.
These are all just speculations for now though. We’re still trying to get over iPhone 11’s phobia-triggering back camera.
