Instagram Now Lets You Add Multiple Accounts

We The Pvblic

Because it is 2016 and after five years in the social media game, it is high time for Instagram to step up its game and add a useful feature needed by one too many: the ability to flip through accounts quickly and easily.

For reasons such as having your very own R18 private account, needing to manage it along with your public account, or some of those sissies who need to continuously update their Instagram-based online shops along with their personal ones.

For whatever reason, this is the update for you. This is your day. Your kingdom has come.

Here’s the official statement from Instagram:

Starting this week, you can quickly and easily switch between multiple accounts on Instagram!

Go to your profile settings to add an additional account. From there, tap your username at the top of your profile to switch between accounts. Once you have multiple accounts added, you’ll see your profile photo appear in places throughout the app so you can always tell which one you’re using at the moment.

Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the home screen.

Scroll down to the depths of your soul (just kidding, scroll down to the bottom) and select “Add Account”.

A list of all the current accounts will be previewed, with a checkmark on the one currently being used.

Select the one you want to use and you’re gold and free to post a selfie or whatever your heart desires.
