‘Jigoku Shoujo’ (Hell Girl) live-action film to drop in PH this month

Watch your grudges

Per Viewers’ Choice Philippines, the dark anime turned live-action film ‘Jigoku Shoujo’ (or ‘Hell Girl‘) will be showing in PH cinemas later this month.

‘What if there’s a way to bring your bully to HELL. Are you ready for the consequences? #HELLGIRL in theaters this February.’, reads the post‘s caption accompanied by the film trailer.

ICYDK, ‘Jigoku Shoujo’ is based on a psychological-thrilling anime about Enma Ai, a girl who can carry out other people’s grudges by literally bringing their tormentors to hell. Safe to say, it’s pretty morbid.

The cult-classic manga series has since spawned a 3-part manga installment. Meanwhile, the live-action adaptation was first released in Japan last November.
