It seems like ‘New year, new music’ is a mantra for Paramore this 2020. Well, at least for one of its members, that is.
Frontman Hayley Williams turned 31 last December and went on to tease an upcoming solo material, set to drop this January.
‘I’m putting out some music next year. With the help of some of my closest friends, I made something I’m going to call my own.’, she tweeted.
‘It’s a really special project and you’ll get a taste of it in January’.

Paramore as a whole has seemingly gone on hiatus after the release of their 2017 album, After Laughter. Hayley herself has admitted that even she’s unsure of what’s next for the band. She also confessed that she lowkey quit the group back in 2015 due to her battle with depression.
But in case fans are concerned that they have seen the last of Paramore, don’t fret. The band last tweeted back in December that there’s ‘still so much more to go’, indicating that a comeback might still be a possibility.
happy holidays and stuff from the kids who stuck together. we’ve known each other through every phase of life thus far… still so much more to go! 6 months from now all 3 of us will be in our 30’s. not sure how that happened.
we love us and we love you too pic.twitter.com/HWRwayfZ00
