Pepper Potts is saying goodbye

Gwyneth Paltrow confirmed to Variety that she’ll be retiring the character after this year’s ‘Avenger’s: Endgame’.

Iron Man’s former secretary turned CEO and wife has been a staple in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the past decade, but Gwyneth insists that now is the right time for a sendoff.

‘I mean, I’m a bit old to be in a suit and all that at this point.’, the 46-year-old said.

‘I feel very lucky that I did it because I actually got talked into it. I was friends with Jon Favreau (Iron Man director).

‘It was such a wonderful experience making the first ‘Iron Man’ and then to watch how important it has become to fans.’

But even with her farewell, Gwyneth is open to appearing in cameos or even flashbacks in the future, saying:

‘I feel honored to be a part of something that people are so passionate about.

If they said, “Can you come back for a day?”, I will always be there if they need me.’

With this news, here’s to hoping Pepper Potts gets one last badass moment in ‘Avengers: Endgame’, which drops April 24, 2019.
