Well, that’s new
The Fast & Furious franchise has had its fair share of crazy stunts and locations but just when you thought all the car ideas have been done, the upcoming ninth film will actually happen in…space.
Michelle Rodriguez spilled the news in an interview with radio show Sirius XM after she was asked to confirm the memes that the F&F fam will be leaving the planet.
‘Oh, no way. How did you guys find that out? See what happens? People start talking behind the scenes, man When a movie doesn’t come out and forget about it, things get out. Nobody was supposed to know that,’ the actress shared.
We get it, she could be sarcastic, but like a true actress, she seemed pretty enthusiastic talking about it in the interview. Plus with SpaceX launching their space-bound Tesla Roadster last 2018, a spacecraft-themed Fast & Furious wouldn’t really surprise us at this point.
Meanwhile, the 9th installment was originally set to drop this May 22 but has been delayed until April 2021.
Guess it’s legit… for now
