Looks like things aren’t looking up for Ellen Adarna.
The family of Eleila Santos, the 17-year-old that Ellen Adarna accused of being a paparazzi, has filed child abuse, libel, and cybercrime charges against the actress, according to TV5.
Adarna is accused of committing the violation of the Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, which protects anyone below 18 years old from abusive actions, TV5 reports.
The actress will also face a charge of supposedly breaking a provision of Republic Act 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 that protects citizens from every form of cybercrime offenses.
The legal complaint came after a week Myra wrote an open letter to Ellen using her Facebook account on May 7. She asked the actress to make a public apology about her Instagram story where she posted the video of Eleila with the caption, “When you PAP (paparazzi) us, we PAP you too!”
