Have you?

In case no one’s reminded you yet, Facebook has launched an intiative to boost voters registration in the country. While scrolling through your timeline, you may come across a PH-specific pop-up asking if you’re a registered voter.

‘Voter registration for the May 2022 elections has begun. Register now to have your say in the elections,’ the pop-up reads.

Since PH doesn’t support online registration, clicking on the ‘Register to Vote’ option will take you to the COMELEC webpage on registration requirements.

This wouldn’t be the first time that the social media platform has raised awareness on voting, as Facebook recently launched their own wide-scale ‘Voting Information Center’ campaign for US users. The goal is to help over 4 million people get registered across the United States.

Meanwhile, PH registration is still ongoing from September 1, 2020 until September 30, 2021. Check out our detailed registration guide to get started.

Again, #IWillVoteIn2022
