Watch ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ in PH cinemas on June 29

Long-time fans of Michelle Yeoh and sci-fi film enthusiasts will have a field day since Everything Everywhere All At Once will soon make its way to Philippine cinemas on June 29. TBA Studios recently announced that it secured the exclusive distribution rights of independent film studio A24’s movie.

The critically acclaimed film follows the story of Evelyn, an exhausted Chinese-American woman who “can’t seem to finish her taxes” and now has to “save the multiverse.” A variant of her happy-go-lucky husband then says that she has to save the multiverse.

Directed by the duo of Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, a.k.a. the Daniels, the film also features other A-list celebs like Harry Shum, Jr., Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Jenny Slate, James Hong, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

TBA Studios Executive Vice President and General Manager Daphne O. Chiu said in a press release, ‘Filipino movie audiences deserve to see this film on the big screen. It teaches us to believe in ourselves, keep going despite adversities, and embrace everything everywhere all at once.’

Everything Everywhere All At Once is A24’s highest-grossing title as of writing. It has a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, while Letterboxd described it as its highest-rated feature film of all time, a label once held by Oscar-winning films Parasite and The Godfather.

Screening details like cinema locations and schedules are yet to be announced. Meanwhile, watch the trailer below:
