ICYMI, DJ Loonyo is the talk of social media after giving his ‘unique’ definition of what mass testing is. Loonyo, who is famous for his viral dance videos, trended for his belief that mass testing somehow involves drug trials for COVID-19.
‘I don’t know kung ano gagamitin nila sa mass testing, pero kung ano man ipapainom nila, ipapagawa nila, it’s a trial and error, that’s why it’s mass testing’, Loonyo said in an interview.
‘Kawawa yung mag-iintake, kawawa yung mag-uundergo nun, kasi it’s not 100% proven’.
SOBRANG ALARMING NITO DJ LOONYO NAKAKALOKA HAHAHA. I'M SO DISAPPOINTED. FOR A PUBLIC FIGURE HA. WALA E, MINSAN LANG TALAGA, KAPAG ANG ISANG TAO NAGSALITA NA, IT DESTROYS THE FANTASY. Doon mo sila makikilala. Iyong depth. Iyong substance. Iyong sense. Lahat ng kilig ko sa video niya nawala hahahaa.I NEVER CRINGED SO MUCH OVER AN IGNORANCE LIKE I DID WHILE WATCHING THIS CLIP.Literal akong sumisigaw ng 'PINAGSASASABI MO?!' Hahahaha iba 'to. Nasa ibang dimensyon pag iisip ni Sir. Ang hirap tapusin nu'ng video. I was even hoping na issa prank hahaha. As in pinagtiyagaan ko siya pakinggan hoping na may redemption sa dulo or at least iyong kausap niya e icocorect siya. But much to my surprise, parehas silang walang proper knowledge kung ano ang COVID Testing, Rapid Testing and most importantly, Mass Testing. In almost 3 months of quarantine, almost half a year our world is battling this pandemic, may katulad ni DJ Loonyo who has a very wide audience and has an access to the internet, na hindi alam kung ano na ang nangyayari at kung ano ang mass testing. Mas malala 'to sa confusion ni Harry Roque guys. And God knows, ilang tao pa iyong katulad niya ng paniniwalaHopefully his followers or friends reach out to him and give him a crash course about COVID19. Naiintindihan ko iyong concern niya about being a 'guinea pig' for clinical trial but you know it's completely different hahahaha sobrang nakakastress hahaha. And he was so sure sa sinasabi niya while vaping. I cant. I just can't. Let us educate one another mga kakosa. Do not let this kind of assumption slide. RESEARCH. Nakamamatay ang virus pero mas nakamamatay ang maling impormasyon.Kaya Kids, mag aral kayo maigi. Mabuti. Masipag. Never stop learning. Laging may lamang ang may alam. 2020 na at nagkakapandemic na, hindi pwedeng puro pagwapo paganda pacute lang #KeplerLoonyo

The online influencer went on to dish out some sage medical advice, saying that the testing shouldn’t be mandatory for everyone and questioned its purpose.
‘It shouldn’t be mandatory, it shouldn’t be encouraged. Depende na sayo’, he said.
‘Why would you test me? I’m a human being. I will react sa kung ano yung ipapainom mo sa akin. Pano kung magreact ng medyo malala katawan ko? Then I’m dead’.
‘Hindi ako naniniwala sa mass testing na yan’, he finalized, while the host took in every word as if it was from the Bible.
Unbeknownst to DJ Loonyo, COVID-19 tests are usually done via swabbing to detect the presence of the virus’ genetic materials in the subject. And no, human guinea pigs and questionable pill intakes are not involved.
Later in the interview, Loonyo seemed to promote another medical conspiracy, saying that the testing kits might already be laced with the coronavirus.
‘Di ba galing yun sa ibang bansa? What if yung swab, bago pa tinest sa sistema mo, meron na palang pang pa-positive yun?’
‘They are just creating something para i-prove na kailangan na ng vaccine’, he preached, while medical experts around the world heaved a collective sigh.
With his absurdly massive following, here’s hoping DJ Loonyo catches up to reality to stem the spread of misinformation. Besides, COVID-19 has already been with us for almost half a year. At this point, for people in his social class, where Google is just a click away, there is little excuse to be misinformed.
DJ Loonyo… mass testing doesn't mean they are testing drugs on you. It is not a vaccine. WTF
They're testing you for the virus. You can't die with a swab. If you don't know what you are talking about, don't try to influence people to do stupid things like your anti-vaxx BS.
