PNP National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) head and our fave birthday boy Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas is likely up for a promotion at Camp Crame in the midst of reshuffling police officials.
The happy news comes from PNP chief Gen. Camilo Cascolan during an interview with ANC, where he explained that Sinas’ good work could land him a higher role soon enough.
Sinas is currently the chief of NCRPO, tasked to enforce the strict lockdown and health protocols he allegedly broke during his controversial May mañanita.
‘We have to evaluate him properly. The guy deserves also an evaluation and of course, a promotion, too… that’s all I can really say. I think he has to be up at the Directorial Staff or a certain position that is fit most especially for him.’
Cascolan furthered that Sinas could be up for a role in training PNP’s newest recruits as he is ‘an expert most especially with regard to the training of personnel and training of recruits.’ Calabarzon unit chief Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr. is in talks to take Sinas’ spot.
ICYDK, Sinas is back in the pvblic sphere for alleged harassment during an eviction of a family living in a compound in Taguig.
According to the reports, there was at least one policeman wielding a high-powered weapon.
Meanwhile, former PNP chief Archie Gamboa asked people to ‘understand‘ Sinas’ birthday party back in May. He was also backed by President Duterte himself, saying that the NCRPO head’s position is essential amidst the pandemic.
‘Ako yung ayaw na malipat siya. He is a good officer. He is an honest one. Hindi niya kasalanan kung may mang-harana sa kanya sa birthday niya.’
