Surf’s (and bottoms) up
For the first time in years, Corona Extra Beer is set to take over the Surfing Capital of the North with a series of events to dominate the sands of La Union.
Whether you’re single, unattached, or looking for a match, the ‘Single & Unattached’ surf competition from February 1 to 9 is where you can catch Corona and all their island activities.
The ‘Single & Unattached’ fest will bring together artists and surfers from all over the world to join in on environmental talks, surf exhibits, beach parties, and more.
For their 9th year, they’re also introducing the theme ‘Surf + Music + Ecology‘ by dedicating parts of the program to climate change awareness.
An LU-wide Corona Caravan x Pub Crawl is set to happen during the festival, where participants can ride along for a night of bar-hopping and island life in these participating spots:
- Funky Quarters
- Olas Banditos
- Surfer’s Point Deck
- The Hangar Beach Lounge
- Pica Bar + Kitchen
If pub crawls ain’t your thing, then chill at the sunset parties on February 1 and 8. The Hangar Beach Lounge offers an all-night Buy 1 Take 1 Corona promo, while the Shrine of Satisfaction bar features Coronita cocktails – or mini Coronas with a twist.
Finally, the jam-packed event will end with Corona participating in an LU-wide beach clean-up on February 9 to address the growing problem of beach pollution.
Amped up yet? Take a breather and use the hashtags #CoronaSunsetsLU or #ThisisLiving on Facebook or Twitter for a chance to get a free Corona in Elyu.
Don’t miss out, peeps
