We know it’s your first or second job (if you hated the first one) ever and you have only a few bits of information on how to compute your 13th month pay.
That’s okay. Math is hard. Computing is hard. But getting effed over by the management of your workspace is not forgivable.
Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) mentions:
“13th month pay is a form of monetary benefit equivalent to the monthly basic compensation received by an employee, computed pro-rata according to the number of months within a year that the employee has rendered service to the employer.”
