Relive the glory days
OG gaming site/Internet’s first hang-out spot ‘Club Penguin‘ is officially back with a replicated ‘Club Penguin Online‘ that features almost everything from the original game.
ICYDHAC (In case you didn’t have a childhood), Club Penguin was a virtual world where everyone played a penguin just out to complete mini-games, and do some good ol’ fashioned cyberbullying (we’re kidding).
The site was then abruptly shut down in 2017, a devastating blow to the site’s wide fanbase.

This time around, the so-called recreation of the game is now up and has reached a whopping 6 million online users due to the ongoing lockdowns and, well, because it’s just so damn nostalgic.
The growing number of new users has even caused huge traffic and slow gameplay for the site, yet the Club Penguin Online team assures its members that they’re currently working on fixing its servers.
We’re thankful that thousands of people are enjoying Club Penguin Online. We updated our servers last week to handle the huge increase of users but looks like we’ll need to invest in new servers.
