Nadine Lustre’s new movie ‘Ulan’ is shaping up to be the next big box office haul.
Not only is it the first flick in a long time in which the actress will be without real/reel life partner James Reid, but her new leading man is also none other than everyone’s current fave heartthrob, Carlo Aquino.
If that ain’t enough to send you reeling, ‘Ulan’ is also helmed by Irene Villamor, who directed hits ‘Meet Me In St. Gallen’ and ‘Sid & Aya: Not a Love Story.’
Xian Lim was previously introduced to be Nadine’s co-star, but that seems to have changed judging by the newly-released set photos on the flick’s IG.
So far, the cast and crew have been mum about plot details or even a release date since production began, but Direk Villamor has teased that it will be about self-love.
As for Nadine, working without James has been an exciting prospect, as she believes ‘it’s healthy to be able to work separately and to work together at the same time. At least we both grow together and [get] to work separately.”
‘Ulan’ will also star AJ Muhlach and Marco Gumabao.
