That first-date feels

After entering Spotify PH’s 2019 Viral 50 with the single ‘Alingawngaw’, Bulacan-based indie-pop quartet Blind Stereo Moon is returning with a new feelsy single that’s apt for those late-night dates amidst the lockdown.

Candle Lights’ is the band’s audacious attempt at combining their playful sound with groovy drums and bass, funkier electric guitar sounds, and breezier 80s synthesizers to depict the euphoria of a modern-day candlelit dinner.

If you ask us, it’s the ideal anthem for those missing their SOs and only have social media and video call dates as their connection nowadays. We’ll get through this, guys.

Blind Stereo Moon was founded back in 2009, comprised of band members Julie Samonte, Dave Cruz, Juliane Bagay Cruz, and John Heris Suarez. Their signature sound is reminiscent of the 90s influences with a mix of with OG folk artists John Mayer and Jason Mraz.

‘Candle Lights’ will drop on May 6 on Spotify and May 7 on other streaming platforms such as Apple Music. You can pre-save ‘Candle Lights‘ here.
