No to extreme measures for now
Even amidst a pandemic, Apple still has new tricks up its sleeves. The tech giant has finally dropped deets on the 2020 version of the iPhone SE – and it’s pretty cheap considering Apple’s branding.
With the company notorious for its sky-high phone prices, the newest member of the iPhone family sells for only $399 (PH SRP of PHP26,490).
This comes as a huge difference from its recent iPhone 11 series, which held prices from $699 (PHP48,000) to $1,099 (PHP56,000).
With a front display similar to the iPhone 8 and a back identical to the iPhone XR, the iPhone SE 2020 comes with an A13 chip similar to the iPhone 11 – meaning it runs faster than phones almost twice its price (until Apple apparently slows it down, anyway).
If you’re the lucky ones who’ve got cash to spare, iPhone SE is available in black, white, and (PRODUCT)RED, with proceeds from the red variant going to Coronavirus beneficiaries. The phone is set to drop in the U.S. this April 24.
We’re keeping our kidneys for now
