88rising just announced their first stop in Asia – and it’s not the Philippines. Bummer, we know.

Instead, Joji, Rich Brian, and the rest of the collective are coming to Jakarta, Indonesia as part of the Asian leg of their Head in the Clouds festival.

The one-day event, which debuts on March 7th, 2020, has been tagged as the ‘Asian Coachella’ and was attended by around 20,000 people during a show in Los Angeles, California.


88rising was last in Manila back in December 2017. The music label is known for pushing Asian representation in the U.S., having launched the careers of artists such as Indonesian singer NIKI, South Korean rapper Keith Ape and Chinese hip-hop group Higher Brothers.
