10 lipstick brands we want Kris Aquino to try

Vinz Lamorena

Kris Aquino continues to establish that she’s the Queen of All Media—and we mean all.

Her most recent conquest of the internet is proof that other than being an effective endorser, people are still interested in keeping tabs on the celebrity—especially in an era where idolizing an Aquino seems to be a taboo, calling for an instant disruption in the digital hemisphere.

But regardless of trolls in and out of the web, Kris has built her own multimedia online empire from nothing. And on the internet we are pretty much her (very) loyal subjects—our faces lit by the glow of our digital screens as we watch her latest uploads daily, typing away on the comments section of her #LoveLoveLove posts as much as we can.

And just when we thought we couldn’t possibly love her content more, she releases a new vlog segment called “Lipstick Love by Kris.”

Okay, it may not be surprising that Kris came out with a series of videos dedicated to lipsticks, as she has made it clear that she’s obsessed with them. But it pretty much is giving in to a pvblic demand as well—after all, the vlog on the contents of her makeup kit was such a viral hit.

She currently has videos on top lipstick picks from makeup brands L’oreal, Bobbi Brown, Kylie Cosmetics, and Tarte. She’s covering it all, from the “Class! Bongga!” brands to drugstore finds.

As seen on her acrylic lipstick stand, it seems like she still has a couple of lippies to review. In fact, in a recent Instagram post, Kris shared about receiving pieces from the Patrick Starr’s MAC collab. More lippies simply mean more Lipstick Love content!

We just hope these lipsticks make it on the next “Lipsticks Love by Kris” episodes:

1. Kylie Cosmetics Lipsticks

Okay, so Kris already featured the world-famous liquid lipsticks of Kylie Jenner, but we’re really curious if Kylie’s traditional lipsticks are equally rave-worthy. Bonus points if it’s Kris Aquino-approved, of course!

2. Fenty Beauty

We can all use a lil red 💋| #STUNNA Lip Paint

We gotta obey Bimb, of course, but we just wanna see how Kris works the Stunna universal red lippie. Celebrity-owned cosmetic lines seem to be the trend nowadays, too. Maybe we’ll be expecting a makeup line from Kris soon, yes?

3. Colourpop Cosmetics

New Year, same lipstick obsession 💋 Shop liquid lips 30% off and deals up to 40% off!

Everyone loves the Ultra Matte Lip, Blotted Lip, and Lippie Stix lines of the LA brand, which is known for their affordable vegan makeup.

4. Maybelline

I think every Filipina owns at least one Maybelline lipstick because they have all the gorgeous shades that don’t punch a hole in the pocket. Wish we had the Super Stay Matte Ink available here though!

5. BLK Cosmetics

Newcomer BLK has one of the best lip cream formulas we’ve ever tried, and it amazingly feels like second skin. Another reason to include it on Lipstick Love: She loves Anne Curtis like the rest of us, too, right?

6. Vice Cosmetics

Vice’s lip kits are insanely affordable you just can’t help but buy all of the shades he comes up with. It’s made for everyone who are in love with nude lips.

7. Urban Decay

UD always has interesting collaborations, not just with makeup junkies but all sorts of artists. The most recent collab collection is with beauty vlogger Kristen Leanne.

8. Kat Von D Beauty

We're wearing LUDWIG today, in honor of #Beethoven's birthday 🖤

We’ll keep this short: It’s the holy grail of liquid lipsticks.

9. Bite Lip Lab

How many shades can you name? 💕🎀👄🌸 #TheAmuseBouche

We’re wondering what the perfect shade for Kris is, based on their lip consultation. The Toronto-based Lip Lab customizes everything from color, fragrance, and finish. Every lipstick has bold pigments that moisturizes the lips.

10. Happy Skin

Happily supporting local brands, of course!
