WATCH: The #WhenWithFilipinos ad is making Filipinos emotional

The Department of Tourism has opened its new campaign to the pvblic and it’s going to replace the 2012 tourism slogan It’s More Fun In The Philippines with #WhenWithFilipinos.

The ad features traveler Jack Ellis exploring the wonders of the Philippines with the help of natives. He gets a native delicacy from a woman who calls him “anak”. Curious, the traveler asks a fellow Pinoy, “What does ‘anak’ mean?”

“It means ‘my child’,” he replied.

It looks like Filipinos have already warmed up to it.
