Released in the Philippines by Viva International Pictures, the hit 2017 South Korean fantasy drama film “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds” tells the afterlife adventure of firefighter Ja-hong, who is led by three guardians in going through seven trials over a period of 49 days, which will reveal how he lived his life and ascertain where he’ll spend the rest of eternity.
According to the Korean Film Council, “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds” is the third most-viewed film in South Korean film history as of February 2018. It stars Ha Jungwoo (The Tunnel), Cha Taehyun (My Sassy Girl), Ju Jihoon (Princess Hours), Kim Hyanggi (Snowy Road), Lee Jungjae (Il Mare), Kim Dongwook (The Concubine), and Doh Kyungsoo (EXO).
Based on a webcomic by Joo Ho-min, “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds” is the first of a duology. The second film called “Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days” will be released later in 2018.
